I'm so excited! I finally snagged Oprah tickets again (had them once about 8 years ago but couldn't go at the last minute) and I am going next week. What should I wear? What would you wear if you were going? And also-has anyone here gone to an Oprah taping? If so, could you give me the scoop on what I need to know? Thanks!
I'd wear grey pants, a v-neck sweater in a beautiful color and a bold, colorful necklace. The studio could be either really hot (all the lights) or pretty chilly, so layering could also be a good idea--like maybe a button down shirt and a cardigan.
My friend who went said that if you wear a bright color like red or fuchsia, you'll sit in the front. She said they do some sort of color coordinating of the audience and that the brighter colors were toward the front while people wearing black, etc. were toward the back with a few interspersed throughout the crowd. Check out one of the shows on TV to see if that still holds true.
I've gone a couple of times and it seems like no matter what color I wear they stick me in the back. I think Oprah hates me. lol Advice: No matter how early you get there it has absolutely nothing to do with where you end up sitting. I thought the earlier you got there the better seat you'd go, not so, every time. There is alot of sitting around and just waiting.
