i had a reserve on a jacket and it didn't sell.  however, i wanted to 2nd chance offer it to 2 buyers b/c their price was just about right.  so, i selected 2 (!) of the buyers to 2nd chance offer it too.  I thought if one would buy it then the other would not be able to. 


WRONG!  i came home and had 2 transactions for the same item in my paypal account.  so i emailed the one that bought it last and told her what i did and that i was sorry and refunding her money. 


what did i do wrong?   can you only 2nd chance offer ONE person?  i am so confused and hope the 2nd buyer doesn't get ticked.

Ebay policy states "the number of offers you send can't be more than the number of items you have for sale." - so you should have only sent the second chance offer to one bidder, let them say yes or no, then next bidder. As long as you refund the money, it should be ok, MOST people are reasonable! When in doubt, always go to ebay "help" section, type in your issue - their help is pretty extensive & the answer is usually there.
