Here they are!  They fit perfectly and are surprisingly not too uncomfortable.  My roommates are giving me a hard time though.  I just ordered another pair in the same size (these have some scratches) and will keep the better pair.  Yay!  I feel like a comic book superhero.  Anyone have outfit suggestions? 


ETA:  They remind me of something Summer would wear to seduce Seth.

ooh those are cute! I have no ideas about outfits though. Maybe a longer jean skirt (pencil shape to the top of the knee or mid thigh??)

lynnie, those are so great!  I love the outfit you put together. 


As for outfit help, all I can say is go ecclectic - think Japan and how those high-fashion girls dress all cutesy and funky.  I'm sure you'll come up with more outfits just by playing around.

Don't listen to your roommates!!! I loved those boots when they were first posted and I'd rock those babies if I could justify the purchase! They are just so, so cool.


Hmmm... I'm trying to think of outfits but the one you're wearing is what keeps popping into mind. I'd wear them like I'd wear cowboy boots, I think. What about a longer, boho skirt in black? That would be awesome with a bright colored (aka turquoise, aqua, green, orange, fushica) tunic, long top, layered with another one.


I'm dying to see what outfits you wear with them!

lol!  blown up mickey. . .  I am so glad you posted that cause I could NOT figure out what that was on her shirt.  I love it!  And lynnie, I don't think it even matters what the heck you wear with those boots--they will put a smile on anyone's face!

Definitely gotta have the attitude to wear them! They look great on you! I think they look better on than off. When I saw the pic of them, I thought "You crazy!" Now that I seem them on, I think they look awesome.

OK, this is def. something you need to try on first but I see them going really well with a knee length prarie (sp?) skirt.

I measured the calf opening- 16" on the size 40s.  That is not that small (my calves arent really that small- I have trouble sometimes with boots)- the problem is getting them off because there is no zipper- they are pretty easy to get on.  Lilykind- you should get them!  Are you a size 7 or 8?  Free returns if they don't fit.

I'm a size 7.5-8, I think 39 in ICL. Oh boy...
