I need a new gym bag

I'm currently using a canvas tote from Target, which is adorable but impractical. I can barely squeeze gym clothes and sneakers inside, let alone any other essentials. It used to be okay because I'd only occassionally need a gym bag at all... I'd go home and change before heading there. Now I'm going to start going to the gym directly from work, so I need to lug my stuff around more often.

I'm not sure what makes a good gym bag... any suggestions? No price limit, but I'd like to keep it reasonable.

 I have this Lululemon Activa Bag in Black (I got it last year but I think you can find some deals online or maybe some stores).  


I love that the bottom has a separate zippered compartment for my gym shoes and the entire bag is relatively compact but fits everything I need, including a full sized towel, and gym clothes. 

Check out Lululemon stores for similar bags on sale or Ebay!

I have this one and like it alot. It has seperate compartments for your gym shoes too.

What is your budget? I have an Adidas bag that has that shoe compartment - I think it was $60 or so. LeSportsac has them as well. Last year's Stella McCartney spring/summer collection had the perfect gym bags and there's some floating around on ebay (look for bowler). They are a little more pricey though.

I usually get the cute duffle bags you get free with purchase when I buy perfume for me or cologne for DH.  I usually talk them into letting me choose what from what they have and they always have a lot of little comparments for me to seperate my electronics and toiletries.
