I agree. It all depends on the top's material too. I can't tell if it's cotton, which might be too much, or silk, where the contrast would be cool.

I ditto the others. PLUS, if you do get that top (which is totally cute), keep in mind that the tie detail on the sleeves may bulk under a cardigan...

I'd almost rather see the ensemble with a little structured jacket...

With the cardigan I think it could work, but without it I think it would be too matchy.

That top doesn't have enough shape to it. I think the top needs to be more fitted if you're wearing a full skirt. JMO.

mmm - i think all together seems like it may be a little too much on the details:
pleated skirt, blouson top w/sleeve ties, dangly earring and the cardigan (i agree with D on the ties being bulky under the cardigan - actually had a similar issue before). But I think each piece is cute alone!
