I posted these a couple of days ago and ended up getting them in white rather than blue. People said they would be versatile and memorable so I am charging ST if they sit in my closet collecting dust. I actually have a ton of cropped pants so they should get enough wear to justify. 20% off with discount code...brand is C-Label.
Oops, having my usual problem with giant pics. Sorry.

Mia, I bought these on Friday too! I wanted them from shopbop but when the code started the white ones in my size sold right away. I was so surprised to see them at Bloomies. They are hot shoes! The shoe department was going gaga over them when I tried them on (or they were very adamantly trying to make a sale). Also, I noticed that if I really wanted to, I could change that pink leather strap to something else. Not sure what else I would use, but if i ever get tired of pink I could replace it with something more neutral.

Vanessa - I got the last white/pink pair as well - from lisyB. So the pink strap isn't actually attached to the shoes at any point? I did wonder about whether or not I could change that...good to know I can, if the pink doesn't work all the time.
What are you going to wear with them?

Yeah, if you're crafty and ambitious you could change the leather strap. They're just like laces and they're not totally attached from what I can see. The trick would be getting new ones in. But even if we did this, the back part of the ankle strap is still pink, so that wouldn't eliminate pink entirely. Still might be worth a try.
I tried them on with cropped jeans and with my Charlotte white beaded skirt and they looked very cute. Very neutral indeed... they almost killed my craving for the MKs I keep posting. I will try to wear them with all the crops & skirts I own. I also have a pair of linen gaucho pants with gold threading that will be v. cool with these. Oh, I'll also wear them with my new white TR Joeys.
Another thing - if you get tired of the sequins (I know that makes them special right now, but maybe next year we won't want sequins all over the place), I think those would also be easy to remove without leaving any distinguishable marks.

Ah, I feel validated about this purchase now, thank you all. Heh. First outfit is gonna be: the shoes, these pants:
and a pale pink/cream coloured Lemon cotton tank/cami I bought last year and didn't wear enough.
Vanessa - I am thinking of buying a soft suede (in camel) tie and using instead of the pink (when necessary - I like the pink and the sequins right now).
Yippee kay aye.
