I've been thinking alot lately about getting an expensive bag. (My taste is getting more and more expensive the more time I spend on ST) What would you recommend for your first "status" bag? I would prefer it for every day use, big enough for wallet and keys and junk but not too huge, straps that can go on your shoulder. Also I'm not really into the big logo bags like LV b/c so many people in my town have fakes.

I like the Kate Spade and the Burburry. the Giselle is cool....but i think it may look dated next season.

i think the tod's is a true classic for your first fancy/expensive/status bag. of the 5 you posted, that one gets my vote.

I'm partial to the Tod's and the kate spade.  I agree w/ doveanunu that the giselle is probabaly going to look dated next year.

I vote for the Kate spade.  I love the look and the color of it.  My green purses are awesome and have been a great conversation piece even though they aren't expensive purses.  I don't know how much you want to spend but I also love the pucci printed purses.

I like the Tod's and the Furla bags best out of those you posted. I think the Giselle might be slightly dated/trendy, though, if you want to avoid that?

I love the look of the gisele, but I have a sorta-lookalike (same straps) and it is a pain in the ass to get in & out of.


I like (in order), the Burberry, then Furla, the Kate Spade and the Tod's. (Normally Tod's is my favorite out of those brands, but this one isn't doing much for me.)
