are you just doing a right click copy and cntrl v paste?
no, i paste the url into the box that comes up when you click the tree. I haven't been able to figure out how to copy/paste images themselves sine I switched to a mac.
I've been having an issue with certain sites but not others. I've been copying and pasting. It seems to work fine when I use an image from Google, but not, say, Zappos (just an example-- it's multiple sites)
the forum host is messing with things right now...
they told me they are undecided as to whether they are going to keep the recent change that effects our ability to just simply copy and paste images from the web.
at this time, to paste an image: - right click on the image - select "properties" - copy the image url - click on the little tree icon in your post editor - paste the image url in the image url field
let me know if you have any difficulties.

That is my usual technique (insert image button), and it hasn't been working on a few sites.
FYI Firefox (at least on a Mac) disables the copy/paste ability.
