Admittedly most of my wardrobe is either thrifted or clearance rack. But I always get excited at the idea of shopping...no matter where I'm going. This afternoon J-Bug and I are joining, of all people, my adoptive mother on a thrift expedition and I'm taking a list of things I'd like to find. ~summer clothes for J-bug are a must ~two or three sundresses, preferably bright colours and floral detail ~black or solid colored fedora (I have some pins I want to add onto one) ~an oversize scarf to use as a sarong ~a fun, colored bag for spring ~a wide belt (brown or black) ~a few short, straight skirts in fun patterns to turn into tanks and halter tops
I'll try to post later with my finds, and let you know how successful I was...or wasn't! Bandolino wrap dress F21 skirt (more pink irl) khaki skirt and black boots (they are crazy wide on my calves of course but I thought they'd work as snow boots) Skirt with side tie and beadingthat I'll be wearing as a swimsuit coverup/halter top sundress
Wow, a shopping list for a thrift store! You are hardcore, my friend.
Good luck. I always find what I wasn't looking for and don't need (but buy it anyway). Hard to believe I have not been thrifting since early January! I might have to go tomorrow.
Let us know how the trip goes - particularly the mother part!
