Since i finally figured out how to post pictures...
Pre-Ceremony Champagne and Snacks(not trying to spell the other word), the lobby. The ceremony starts @ 8:45ish and guests should start to arrive at 8 so they'll mingle here and eat/drink
Then, guests move into the ceremony this room will be set up with the chairs with the chuppah(Jewish wedding) at the stage(not on it, it's higher than I am) NOTE: this is the same room as the reception, just set up differently w/different flowers and chair cushions, etc....
the band will be in here and on the floor on a lower build stage
Cocktail Hour in the green room:
while guests are in here the caterers change the cermeony room into the party room.
you'll see lots of gold .the colors for the wedding are gold/black and white.
your wedding is going to be gorgeous! i can't wait to see pictures!

Thanks everyone!
It's in DC(as cc correctly reported). It's called the Andrew W. Mellon Auditorium(if you don't write it that way they get all annoyed), they even had to approve the invites. It's a federal building on the Mall in DC. the wedding is the same day as the Cherry Blossom Festival Parade, and the building is on the street that the parade goes down, so DC will be quite crowded....at least there's plenty of room at the Mellon.
Oh, I am so jealous! (writhes in envy). J and I saw a place similar to that in NYC, but the cost of the space rental alone was $8K... I content myself with the fact that we'll have an anniversary party there... one day.
