Target has the best costume jewelry right now.  They have a whole section for turquoise, another for coral, and my favorite, one called natural.  Lots of pretty gold, wood, and otherwise earthy jewelry.  It was so pretty!  I wanted to buy it all but I stopped at two earrings and two necklaces. 


PS: I don't think any of it is on the website.

oh i know! I just picked up a pair of earrings last month while all their costume jewelry was on clearance. I think it was $4 but it looked way more expensive than that.

I just got Bamboo bangles (thanks the Chic's threadstyle page) and gold bangles there. They're both so cool!

Thanks for the tip!  I have to go there anyway to exchange something.  I can't wait to check it out-is it in the jewelry section or some other section (i.e. juniors/teens or something)?  I've never even looked at jewelry at Target before (I always seem to forget about it) and I want to make sure I find the stuff you're talking about.  Thanks again.

It's in the normal jewelry section (not the nicer ones in the glass though.  Just the plain old cheap, but cute jewelry).  HTH

Ok, do yours smell like gas? I was sitting in class this morning and I thought I had spilled gas on myself while pumping it. Then I realized that I haven't pumped gas in months and it was my bracelets.

Hmm, that's weird.  I don't have any of the bracelets, but I just went and sniffed my other jewelry  (yes, I am a freak) and they didn't have a weird smell.  Did you get them wet maybe?

I think its the laquer (how do you spell that?) on them. I'm wearing them for the first time today so I don't think I got them wet.

I was there last night and spent about $30 and got a pair of earrings and three necklaces.  I am so excited because I was just complaining about being sick of spending $50 - $100 on ONE item of cheap costume jewelry. 


I will definately get a lot of use out of these things; lets see I got: silver multi-chain dangle earrings with green and brown "gemstones" throughout the chains, "gold" multi-chain necklace with green "gemstones" throughout the chains -I think it had 4-6 differing length strands, a shell choker leather necklace, and I can't remember what else, but I know I got another necklace too.  You'll see them in the style thread. 


I agree with the others - get to the Target for some cute jewelry.
