My personal experience with registering has been to go into the store to see what I like and then complete everything online - I was a little stressed in the store! My fiance has been involved in that whole registering process which I loved - the down side is that he knows the passwords and adds ridiculous items! LOL! Gotta love him for trying!

I recommend registering at JCPenney, the prices are great for guests and they have everything you need. There is also helpful planning and registering tips on their site - not to mention the freebies and discounts you get as the bride!

Where are you storing your dress until the wedding? Mine is in but I don't want to take it out of the store because I don't know where I will keep it.

Alfred's made me come pick it up! I thought they would keep it for me but I should have known better. I bought a protective bag and it is hanging in my closet right now and my fiancee knows he will die if he dares to even joke about peaking at it.

I am not a huge fan of JC Penny's but they do have nice kitchen and bath stuff. I might give them a second thought. I was mainly going to do Bed Bath and Beyond since they have that great return policy but I know I probably need more than just that place on my list. Crate and Barrel isn't convenient for most people so I'm not putting a lot on that one. Just a few things I like for my friends that like to shop online.

That is a gorgeous BM dress. I didn't want to go long since we are having an outdoor reception at the zoo so I went short. I really like their dresses there though. They have some awesome cocktail dresses for $100 so I think I'm going to pick up one or two for myself soon.

I would give JCP a second thought, I think you will be pleasantly surprised. I registered at 3 stores because I was told it is nice to give your guests options and I am even considering adding one more. I think that with the economy the way it is, it is nice to have the different options, especially stores that have items that are more budget friendly.

Thanks! I am happy you like the BM dresses! They do have great stuff for great prices - I am so frugal these days! But when you find something you like and the price is right, I say go for it! Have you gotten a dress for your rehersal dinner yet? A cocktail one from there would be perfect! (hahah! I am thinking of excuses for you to get another dress)!

Not yet and that is exactly what I was thinking of doing. I was going to get the one I picked out in a different color like hot pick or a teal. I'm waiting another month or two before ordering it though.

Great idea on waiting! I haven't gotten my dress for the rehersal dinner yet either, I am going to wait also. I ordered my dresses for my showers a while ago - the women throwing me my showers asked if I finished registering so they can put it on the invites and my answer was, "no, but I got the cutest dress for the shower!" haha! First things first!!

What I love about the Alfred Angelo dresses is all the colors they are available in! Hot pink and teal are adorable! My BM dresses are in a color called butter - so cute in person but not so much online! I recommend looking at that color! Very summery!

That is so cool that you got engaged by the koalas. We are going there for an epilepsy fundraiser in two weeks and I am going to think of you now when I see them.

I have been wanting to go to Greece and Italy so you must post lots of pictures when you get back!

The koala is actually gone. They are supposively are about to put out the new little red panda. I can't wait to go see him.

Oh I didn't realize it was gone! I will have to check out the new red panda when it gets here.
