I think the Fornarina misstep comes from a deep desire to no longer buy boring shoes. I own crazy clothes but all my shoes are boring solid colors. So what do you think of all these? I'm just looking for cute shoes to update my wardrobe some.
I like the 2nd Guess pair because you could wear them with more things.
And I LOVE the BCBG ones - esp. in pink. I don't think they're too kitschy at all - just enough to be fun.
I'm not a big fan of either of the ICL pairs, but I generally love their take on fun shoes. The 2nd pair is all right but I think you could do better for funky shoes. How about these?
(come in purple, too)
(in pink, too)
Forgive me if these are too sparkly and flashy - I'm attracted to things that sparkle. I can't help it.
I really like all the Guess ones. The others, not really. But I admit I'm a bit too conservative when it comes to shoes - a solid pink pair is funky enough for me...
I like them all with the exception of the blue ICL's. I really love the red ones with the bear. I also like everything that blubirdie posted, especially the blue ankle tie ones.
I like the Guess ones, I like all the colors, I would go with whichever would work best with your closet. I the pink BCBG's, I like them in green as well! And I think the last pair of IC that you posted (w/the bear) are totally you! Cute!
I went to Nordies tonight to try and see at least some of these shoes IRL.
I thought the Guess shoes were too boring, go figure.
The BCBGirls ones were really cute IRL and on my foot, but the cork heel isn't that stable and I nearly fell flat on my face trying to walk to the mirror in the shoe department (and I wear high heels fairly often).
I am no longer in like with the first ICL pair and the second one...well I didn't get to see that one IRL. I'm determined to find it in a B&M though, because I HATE buying shoes online.
blubirdie...I am in love with this pair. The print reminds me of the traditional Thai dance outfits I wore when I was little. Unfortunately I have huge muscular calves () and I can't wear shoes with ankle ties.
And this pair was super gorgeous IRL, but it didn't fit my feet right!

Did they have all those ICL at Nordies? My Nordies usually only has a couple pairs but maybe??? I'm dying to try some of thsoe on IRL instead of imagining how fab they would look on my feet. Of course I could go to a smaller store in town that I know carries ICL but I always feel bad making the smaller stores bring tons of shoes out for me to just "try." I have to walk away from shoe buying for a day or two before I actually purchase. Otherwise I'll come home with 12 pairs of crazy, sparkly shoes that I could wear maybe once and a credit card bill that makes my head spin!
Hmmm, both of the Nordstroms I frequent are not considered the best selectionwise (Westsside Pavillion and The Grove, both in Los Angeles), but they each had around 10-12 pairs of ICL shoes. I saw all these at the Nordies at The Grove.
I would've gone for the green strawberry shoes, they rock, but I didn't see them in the store.
