Some of you remember that my husband is on his 2nd wedding ring now (he lost weight since the wedding, and titanium can't be sized). Anyway, as I was packing, I found it -- and I have been trying to figure out what to do with it. I don't want to throw it out, since it was the actual ring we used in our ceremony.
So...I bought two silver chains from Target and made it into a necklace. Whaddya think?

I've been looking at those Adina necklaces for a while now -- I'm on the lookout for a nice, everyday necklace. I love your idea! My mom gave me a ring that I wore as a baby (it doesn't even fit on my pinky), so now I can use it! Thanks

You just slipknot it on either side. Make sure the chain is closed, then take the non-clasp end, loop it around the ring, and tuck the rest through. Like this:
