Okay I kinda wanted the gauchos.. but now I'm really dying for the knickers! They seem more "wearable" and less wild to me in a way. But are they really worth the big bucks? I mean I have dropped alot more on alot less before but it seems like alot for t-shirt-y material. I know some of you said that the splurge was worth it for the gauchos... is it really true?
Rachel Pally knickers. $143 plus 20% and no tax.
I could save money and get these from Urbn? $28. But I like how the Rachel Pally knickers are less baggy and are cuffed.
Here's M&M in them! She looks so cute!!!!!!!!!! I think when I saw them on her I really wanted to have them for my wardrobe too! They look better on her than the model.
*EDIT - I thought maybe it wasn't clear originally but M&M is wearing the Rachel Pally knickers.
i'm still debating the splurge. i have a knock-off pair of rachel pally's and i luurve them. i could wear them every, single day (and plan to once it gets warmer) so i'm considering the splurge.
my random musings on this (sorry for the bullet points, it's been a loong day):
*i think it's a matter of preference. i think the knickers are really cute and would be easier for a smaller person to work with since they're not as overwhelming
*you could probably get the urbn ones and have them hemmed
*if you go to soho all those ghetto hootchie stores on broadway (amsterdam boutique, mystic, necessary clothing) have tons of rp style pants. i got mine from amsterdam boutique last summer for $20, and i saw a bunch in those stores 2 weeks ago. also you can try them on, which is always a plus for me
*while you're on broadway, check out lounge. they have some rachel pally stuff (not the knickers but the disco dress). that way you can feel the material b/c that's what you're paying for it's supposed to be super special and high tech so it won't pill etc. i don't know about the pilling, but it did feel really, really nice.
