I bought these really cute pants at anthropologie last week. I have been looking for a buttery colored pair of pants. They fit great, make your butt look super (see pic), work with lots of things in the closet, great for summer, can be dressed up or down etc... The problem is that they were $88 and not worth it. I think i was so excited to find capris in this color that i didnt consider the price (once again blinded by anthropologie's pricing) If i could find something this cute and cheaper i would return them. Any thoughts. Should i keep or return?
They look great! Will you be wearing them soon? If not, maybe you could return them and wait for a sale?? I haven't seen anything like them, but I'll look around and if I come accross a pair simular I'll let you know. Otherwise, I think you'll just have to stop and think if you can afford them and if you'll get enough wear out of them for the price tag!
keep them! anything that makes your butt look super is worth far more than $88. if you feel great in them, you will wear them often and the cost-per-wear will come way down.
i really like those pants, they fit great, etc...but since anthropologie has a reputation of putting everything on sale (especially capris) i would wait it out and get them on sale. there's certain stores that i will buy things full price, anthro is not one cuz it has always bitten me in the a$$....

Hey, I have those in my cart right now. Now that I see them on (and they do fit well), I think I might change my mind. I liked the idea of the wide leg, but now that I see it on I kind of wish they weren't that wide. Have you checked Banana, Gap, or Limited? Those pants seem pretty simple and I bet for something that basic you could find it at a mall store. Plus, say you find a pair for $40 - $50 and they don't fit perfectly. For about $10-$15 you should be able to get them altered and that would still be cheaper than Anthro.
Those are really cute - I could def. see how you would be temporarily blinded. If you are able to find something cheaper that fits, I would return the Anthro ones. If you can find others and think the Anthro ones would hold up well for a few years, keep them. Or you could always return them and wait for a sale .

Do the pants wrinkle funny in the front?? Or is it just your pose? I think that there are pants out there that can make your butt look better for the price. I am the only one going against the grain here, but I am SUPER picky about fit.
You've pointed out a lot of great things about them and how versatile they are. They look great and it may be hard to find a pair that are comparable so you may have to eat the cost on this one.

I don't think $88 is bad to pay for pants that fit you well. But, if you really want a cheaper pair, I saw some yellow capris in NYCo yesterday. I wouldn't really describe them as butter yellow--more of an Easter pastel yellow.
