STYLETHREAD -- LET'S TALK SHOP!

I am hosting, along with two others, a wedding shower for one of our friends. It is very informal, only about 10 people in one of the girls homes. We were trying to decide if jeans are appropriate. It is at 5 pm, but I wonder if they are dressed up if it would be okay. Here is one possibility if so:

        My top is like this one, but the one pictured is a different brand. I broke down and bought the BCBG one for the spring that is almost the same color as the one pictured(I couldn't find it online). It was the most beautiful blue and I couldn't resist it! I would wear a more simple white top under though. 

I was thinking that with my 7 A jeans and some cute shoes. Would that be cute?
