I have been so sick and down in the dumps lately, I ditched work early yesterday and went to the gap outlet to cheer myself up. I found so many great deals! I got a pair of dark brown leather, pointy-toe mid-calf banana rep. boots for $15! They are beautiful; they have 2 thin straps & tiny buckles at the top. I have been searching for a pair forever; never thought I'd find one this cheap. I also got a pair of dark brown leather pointy-toe slingbacks (banana) for $15; a pair of gap jeans (got them a few sizes too big, so they'd be really slouchy); a pair of red cords in a jean style; a pair of extra wide wale khaki-colored cords from banana (they have cute flaps with buttons for the pockets); some really nice banana collared shirts; a few banana sweaters & cardigans; an amazing pale green cashmere knit hat from banana for 49 cents; a few of those gap seamless tees (1 tank top, 2 s/s, 2 l/s) in a rainbow of colors; a beaded/sequined cami from banana; some other random shirts. My favorite score wasn't even clothing: I have wanted to replace my hangers and pants clips with wooden ones for a while, but they can be $$$ (I want them all to match, so I need to buy a bunch at once). Well, they were selling brand wooden hangers and matching pant clips for 49 cents each!!! I bought almost 40 altogether, but I need to go back and get more. The only downside is that they have "banana rep." in small black letters printed on all of them. I think I can get it off though, and if not, I don't care; they're not THAT noticeable. All in all, I only spent $128. I feel much better now, and my closet looks so nice with my new hangers! Sorry I can't take pics of anything to show you; my boyfriend is on vacation in Oregon and has his digi with him. It felt so good to struggle to get from my car to my front door because I had three HUGE bags to carry!
