Hi Chic--I just saw your reply to my necklace post re: Bobbie Thomas' Oscar Necklace.


Do you think her necklace was this one?



 


I think there might have been one more stone and that the colors of the stones were different?


Am I remembering correctly?

I think is just one stone, but then she had 3 layered in different colors? I am remembering correctly? I am going to see if I can find a pic of her.

I found a video clip of her on the emitations website.  I think it is one necklace, but it is definitely three stones.  One is light blue chalcedony, one appears to be dark blue chalcedony and the other is either dark green chalcedony/jade or smoky topaz (my computer resolution is not the greatest).  Either way, I can definitely make something like it.  Just wanted to give you the heads up on where to find a pic.

They have classes at Brina Beads and at Colorstones.  I haven't taken classes at either of these places (I learned to bead, knot, wire-wrap, etc. when I lived in KC), but I am sure you can learn the basic techniques easily at either place. 


I'll send/post a pic of my attempt at Bobbie's necklace when finished.
