Wanted: Long Formal Dress to wear as an Honorary Bridesmaid 7:30pm Formal Wedding in July.
All I was thinking was solid pink, or green, or a pretty floral. This can be short as long as it is more formal looking. I am coming up emty handed and was hoping you all could help!
I want to look nice in the pictures with the other bridesmaids so this is their dress: Excuse my photoshop doctoring the pic...
Ok after talking to the bride we agreed that I should not wear pink, b/c I will match too well and the other honorary bridesmaids may feel bad...so I am really thinking green and short now. I don't really want a long green dress and I can wear whatever I want. The wedding is formal, but another girl is wearing a lily dress I think, so here a few thoughts of mine, but please help me and give me some of yours! I am just paranoid b/c there are over 300 people going to be there and there is more pressure with them knowing that I picked my own dress. THANK YOU!!
Hmmm...do you want pale pink, medium or hot? Not sure considering the color on the skirt is from photoshop...

You know, it didn't sound like that hard of a task, but there just isn't much out there in green, pink or floral. I would bet that the options really expand in the next month or so...
The color is hot pink. I could do any lighter shade of pink, I think a magenta would be too much. Also I think that I may order from a bridesmaid company, b/c I seem to like more of what is out there. I found a place that will let me get just one. I am leaning towards long because I would like to invest in a formal dress that I can wear again. TIA
It is when your friend has too many friends too choose from and doesn't want to leave some people out. We went to HS together and work together. We are close, but she is closer to the other girls. So that is where I fall into place. She has 14 bridesmaids, and 4 honorary bridesmaids. She has been in 16 weddings herself! The main difference is that we get to pick our own dress, any spring color, floral or solid, and we walk down the aisle, but we sit in the front row during the ceremony. So really it is the best way to be a bridesmaid, since you are part of the fun, but get to pick out your own dress and don't have to stand( since I can't stand still this is great for me!)
Update! I checked with Pearls Place and all these dresses are either $161 or $150! Can you believe it! The only downfall is it takes 3 months to get in, but I have till the end of July. I am going to try on tommorrow and see what actually looks good on! But what do you all think of these dresses in pink, I don't want to look like the pink monster!
I updated this...sorry I am being really needy on this issue! Thank you! Oh and the last black dress that I posted is cotton, not dressy at all in person!
