Your purchases are very interesting to me. I will definatly be getting a bottle of that mimosa; it sounds delicious.
About the acne scar cream, have you used it before, or is this your first time? If you don't mind telling me more about it and your experience with it I would appreciate it. TIA.
Drew, it's the MD Skincare Alpha Beta Daily Face Peel. I bought it about a month ago to try out since I felt like my skincare regimen needed a boost. I usually use Peter Thomas Roth 10% BPO Gel as my acne medication, but it wasn't doing as much as it used to. My face is pretty much clear now (just the occasional breakout), but unfortunately I have a ton of acne scars left over. I've had hormonal cystic acne since I was 11...disgusting stuff.
Basically it consists of two pads, Step 1 and Step 2. You wipe the Step 1 pad over your face, sit around for a few minutes (the package says 2...I prefer to wait maybe 5-10 minutes), and then you wipe Step 2 over your face. I do this every night as part of my nighttime regimen. It is REALLY strong. I think the concentration of acid is 12% (the strongest that a home peel can be) and I personally wouldn't recommend it if you have sensitive skin.
MY skin is really smoothing out and I can defintely notice a decrease in the acne scarring. It also makes your skin smoother, like a baby's bottom. I've never had softer skin on my face in my life.
You may also want to read the reviews on MUA (it's listed under Dr. Dennis Gross), because although my own experience has been positive, some other ladies haven't had as much luck. It's also steeply priced at $68 for a 30 day supply so it's defintely something to think about. I cringe at the price, but I'm willing to pay when I see results.
I am trying to find a cheaper alternative...wish me luck.
Lilykind- have you tried the 10% DDF glycolic toner? I have the 5% pads, and they are nice, but next time I think i will get the 10%. It has raves on makeupalley.com. Maybe pick up a sample next time you are at Sephora- it is $20 or $25 and should last a few months.

That would def. help the price issue...I will probably do this! Thanks for the tip!
THanks for the info, lilykind. I do have sensative skin so I don't know if I should try it. I have used the microdermabrasion scrubs though without any problems (slight irratation, but worth it for the softer skin). How do you think this product compares to microdermabrasion scrubs (if, of course, you have used them) as far as sensativity? TIA, again.
Halleybird, no I haven't, but I just saw it advertised yesterday (how's that for coincidence) and wondered about it. Is it supposed to be a cheaper version of lilykind's thing? Anyway, I'd love to hear what you have to say about it.
Drew, I've used the L'Oreal microdermabrasion scrub and Dr. Brandt's Microdermabrasion in a Jar in the past. I hated Dr. Brandt's stuff...I felt like I was smushing lemon pledge into my face and it didn't give me great skin, but it wasn't really problematic for my skin either. The L'Oreal was okay, but the most I would really get was softer skin and the acne scars didn't fade away as fast as I had expected them to. The peel is maybe a little stronger than the microdermabrasion kits, but not much so.
I am going to return the MD Skincare peel to Sephora tonight and get the DDF Glycolic toner for a test run. I'm gonna try that first since Sephora has a pretty good return policy.
I'm interested in the Neutrogena one too, though and I'll keep an eye out for that.
