The wedding colors are ivory, burgundy(berry), accented with mauve. So there lies the dilemna dyeing shoes or getting black when there is no black anywhere else in the wedding.


This is the dress,  whatever I choose is what all the bridesmaids are going to do.

gold or pale gold if you can find it.  there is a bcbg shoe called salvia and it comes in pale gold...kinda similar to this color (but not this shoe)....

see that's what I was thinking maybe a bronze or pewter shoe.  The bride has pretty much left it up to me but If I choose something that she doesn't like them I'll end up with those hateful dyed shoes that may or maynot even match the dress.  The other option is clear shoes(her original choice).


 


Has anyone ever had dyed shoe?

i think a clear shoe would make the dress look cheaper.  do a search on www.zappos.com and see if you find any that you like.

My BM's dresses are the same color and I am having them do a black shoe and I am giving them black cashmere wraps to wear for the wedding. The dresses are so long you barely see anything but the toe anhow.

I would go with a metallic - but Collette's right that you'll barely be able to see them anyway.  Might as well get something cute you'll all want to wear again!

They make a light gold color called champagne that might look nice with those dresses.  I think zappos will have it.  I would just do anything to stay away from dyed to match.  They are usually uncomfortable.
