I've had them for about 6 months now, but I just read an article on fakes this weekend, and I happened to compare the tags of my bootcut 7s and dojos (bought from Saks, eluxury, etc) to the tags of the A-pockets (which I bought from someone), and the font, material, etc is all different. Plus the seams on the side of the legs are totally different (it's an exposed seam instead of the hidden one all my others have).
I can't believe it took me this long to realize it. The pockets and wash are exactly what they should be, but the denim does seem a lot thicker than my other 7s. The fit is OK -- not my favorite pair, but not bad.
Weird, huh? I guess I don't have to stress about putting them in the dryer now.

i would really like to see that article. there is this store near my house that is always "going out of business" and i went in once and was surprised to find COH and Seven jeans there. but for some reason they always seemed slightly off to me. i wish i knew the indicators! i could report them to "shame on you" on the 6 o'clock news.
ugh!! That is the worst feeling, I bought some seven a jeans from ebay, and right away I could tell they were fake, I was so pissed!! The wash, the fabric, evereything gave it away!! I'm sorry this had to happento you too!!
I am sad...I don't think the person who sold it to me knew, though. She got them from Nordstrom, and I bet some sneaky jerk returned some fake ones. Looking at the tags, it's blatantly obvious.
