I bought this J Crew cardigan for my mom in "rhubarb" (a pinkish, punchy almost red color, but not red) for her birthday, and it needs some accessorizing. If I leave it to her she'll make it matronly and boring.

She just turned 57 (doesn't look it tho!) and is artsy, but you wouldn't know it by the way she dresses.

I'm looking for either a shirt to wear under or some jewelry to wear with it.

I was thinking of cobalt blue, but I'm open to anything.

How about something chunky and colorful like this (this one is expensivem but I'm sure you could find a similar one at Forever21 or Urban Outfitters)-
