When I went wedding dress shopping with my best friend, she got her veil at Saks.  I found their veils to be gorgeous - not even comparable to others that we saw.  They had a really cute fingertip one on display as well.  Sorry I am not too much of a help, but that veil has staying in my memory.....must mean something.

veilshop.com is really cool, because it shows you what different types of veils look like on an actual person.

I got mine from them and it was really nice.

second the veilshop.com rec, tradewindtiaras.com is pretty good too and they have some nicer fabric choices like silk tulle and english netting.
