I'm going to the Bahamas for spring break in about two weeks (I'm sooooo psyched, I have yet to experience the typical college spring break and I can't wait!) and I want to get a couple skirts to wear for daytime (on the beach/chilling) and nightime (clubbing).
I want to stick with skirts that fall around the knee...mini skirts aren't all that flattering on me and I'll look too covered-up in a longer skirt. I have my heart set on a white linen or cotton rayon number for day and would like to find an interesting black skirt to wear at night. What do you girls think of these two? (Both delias, sorry for the huge pics)
One note - I've got quite a booty on me, so if you think these won't look good on a curvy figure, please don't let me buy! And do post any suggestions you have
(I'd get this in black, unfortunately there's no picture of it)
I think they are cute skirts. I have been looking at getting them. I want something I can wear a beater and flip flops w/ but could also dress up a little.
I think these skirst would be great for vaca. Have fun!

I think the first skirt would be great for a pear shape, the A line flatters well. I am not sure about the blue one, the material seems so thin that it would show every little curve, but thats just my guess!
Rocky, I'm not sure about the material of the second skirt either. I think I'll get the white one! How does delias run in terms of sizes? I'm usually a medium in skirts from stores like Express and Forever 21 and I'm a 28 in COH jeans. Should I go for a 5/6 or 7/8?

I would say that you'll be safe in 7/8. I have a denim skirt from there that's a 7/8. It's a bit too big for me and I wear a 27 in COH and hover between S and M in stores like Express and F21.

I agree. I have a booty also (not too big) , and with that kind of material it will cling to your behind too much.
