That's a good question. I've been thinking about getting a pair of Frye's, but now I wonder if I should just wait until Fall and see how I feel about them then. Within another 6 weeks, I'll be wanting to wear sandals everyday.
I'm torn. I live in a redneck town where people always make fun of anyone in cowboy boots & shorts. But I think they look cute with a skirt. So I really don't know. And I have skinny bird legs so I think a chunky boot might make them look skinnier. I'm totally undecided
unfortunatly i don't have a pair of fry boots they all make my feet look big. sigh the trouble with having skinny legs and long feet. however i have long been a fan of the fry. i would wear them in the summer if the weather wasn't toooooo hot. nothing above 85 degrees. i'd wear them with a flirty sundress or denim mini. so for those of you who can wear fry boots wear them in the summer for me and know i will be jealous and wishing it was me.
I wear boots in the summer - especially cooler summer days when it's in the low seventies.
btw - could they have modeled those boots more unattractively? pastey legs are onething but paired with what looks like white athletic socks - I don't know - I'd rather just see the boot - what are the legs and socks adding? at least put some cute socks or tights on her or no socks at all

My Frye toleration level is based on how warm it will be that day. If it's above 75 degrees, I will put away the Fryes. Otherwise I am happy to wear them. In Los Angeles, the highs during the summer could be 70 or they could be 85 so it's kind of a tossup. I think they rock and they're among the few boots that can work witht he right outfit in the summer.
