I am going to the rodeo with some friends in a few weeks (i.e. concerts, etc.). Does anyone have any cute outfit ideas... nothing too extreme... I am def. not a cowgirl. Thanks

what's the temperature going to be like? personally, I would wear jeans, any casual boots, and a beater under a feminine blouse... here are some other options

what ever you do, do not wear the "Rodeo Tuxedo" (also known as the Canadian Tuxedo)...

but a cute top and jeans would work. You'll be sitting for awhile so make sure you're comfortable. Or wear some cowboy boots or a distressed cowboy hat if you want to add some kitsch-appeal.

I pretty much agree with Detriot. I'd wear either a t-shirt or a beater underneath a button down, jeans or cords, and Fryes or cowboy boots for fun. I personally wouldn't rock the hat, but that's me.


I went to a rodeo in Texas though and wore a t-shirt, jeans and sneakers and I was fine though.

jeans are a must for the rodeo.  i'd wear a simple wife beater, but instead of a hat funk it up with awesome chunky braclets in turquoise, coral, and sterling silver which are great items for the upcoming spring and summer. use it as a good excuse to go accessorie shopping. just a little side note. . .i wouldn't wear a cool cowboyish belt i find when i am sitting in the stands for things i tend to munch and drink a lot of beer which can bring on a little bloaty tummy and the belts kinda cut in to me and make me feel uncomfortable.  fahg! so just a little fyi.
