Honey - I saw on the weekend shopping post that you bought the capital tailor trouser jeans with the color band around the waist.  Are these the ones that you bought?



I bought those a month ago (on sale too, woo hoo!) and can't figure out what to wear them with, other than boring things, like a white button down or black turtleneck.  The band around the waist just seems to throw me off.  Have you thought of anything more creative?

yep, those are the jeans i have. i haven't really gotten around to working them into my wardrobe (damn 9-5 can't wear jeans) and they're a bit dressy to wear on a standard night out. so far the only outfit i have planned is the pants, a white c&c studio 54 tank (this style CC724 Studio 54 Tank, Ice Cream at shopbop.com) and silver heels.  i tried them on in my house and they're too long, but the cool thing is they look good cuffed b/c they have a wide leg trouser style, and the bottom has a purple seam (similar to the waist band) so when you turn the cuff up it shows.  other than that i'm not much help, sorry, but i'll look around for some stuff and see what i find. also i think i'm probably going to ignore the waistband part and just treat them like regular old trousers.

I love this jeans too, but they are way too long for me... i am only 5'3''.....
