I think the shirt would look better with a white, cream, or khaki colored skirt and different shoes.

You *could* do that, but before I got down to the part where you said "yellow pencil skirt," I wanted a dark denim skirt (like a skinny straight one or one with a little flare). I like denim with metallic shoes. It can stand up to them.

I agree with dc - dark denim would be really cute in that outfit. I think the shirt could be cute with yellow, but then like someone else said, different shoes.
