I was looking for a pair of wide-legged khakis for spring but I need a 34" inseam. The BR Martin fit were too short and Gap Ultra low rise doesn't come in long length either.
Can anyone tell me what the Gap modern fit are like? Also where else could I find long length khakis?
I have these. I them. I love j. crew's chinos and they have them in talls too. I think the tall inseam is around 35" so you might have to have them hemmed, but they're wonderful pants.

I totally agree. They are my favorite comfy casual pants. I have a million different pairs.

If I remember, you and I are built similarly -- tall, boyish figure? If so, I'd avoid the modern fit. They are too tight in my waist but sort of poof out at the hips and in front of the hips...like I don't have enough body to put in them. I think they'd be more flattering on someone with a normal (not dramatic) hourglass shape.
I've never tried the J.Crew..but you might want to think about Victoria's Secret. Their hipster flare chinos come in long lengths, and the fit was actually not too bad.
