I hope these give you some ideas. I know these are kind of $$$, but I looked for cheaper alternatives and couldn't find any. For some reason, it is hard to find "going out" shirts that are not camis.

I don't usually buy nice stuff for going out- I usually find it on clearance at stores like Urban Outfitters. Places like Loehman's are good too- I am picky with certain things but not really with going out tops. I usually buy non-descript things and add cool accessories. I do this because I hate the idea of a nice shirt smelling like smoke or having wine spilled down the front or anything. I wear off the shoulders a lot and casual tops too. I wear this one a ton because it is sweatshirt material and a dark green, which is kind of a rare color:

I ordered the 2nd top Andrea Julia posted (the sweeties one at neiman marcus) and I have to say I didn't like it as much in person. It just didn't fit me the same way it does on the model. I am thinking of returning it.
