I need some more everday shoes. I have some penny loafers that I wear far too often, and I am just sick of my birkenstocks. Other than those two, I have the hardest time finding a neutral shoe that goes with a lot. What do you guys wear? p.s. comfort is a must, as I walk across campus daily.

I have these in black patent and nude, and knockoffs in red. I wear one of the three almost every day. If I had to pick only one pair of shoes to get me through the autumn, I'd pick these in nude! I love them!

I have the same issue, and have found the low wedges (under 2" for sure) with rubber soles work really well for me. They're low enough that they're comfy all day but still give me a little boost, and the rubber sole adds a flexibility to the shoe that I find nearly eliminates blisters for me.
How much are you looking to spend? I can post some options from sites, but I usually have good luck finding those sorts of things at Marshalls/TJMaxx or Nordstrom Rack for pretty cheap.

I have a few pairs of canvas ballet/sneaker flats for farmers' market days, housecleaning, etc. - I find them very comfortable and they work with jeans, capris, shorts, and most casual skirts. There are tons of brands and styles out there...the punk rocker inside me likes Sugar and Punkrose.
This isn't the high fashion option, but I figure if you're wearing Birkenstocks then you're more into comfort than style.
