so now that the shopping ban's pretty much over...should i get this you guys? is the outfit worth the $$$?

btw, it's $240 for the shrug, $45 for the cami and $285 for the embroidered skirt. i can afford it but if i get it, then everything else i buy in april will be very limited...

thoughts???

i think it's gorgeous! you could definitely get more wear out of the shrug and tank by wearing them with different outfits (or even with jeans), making them worth the cost. i am stuck on the skirt, though. it's hard to tell what the fabric is and how dressy it is, to be able to tell what else you could pair it with.

I wouldn't pay that much for the shrug, there are plenty of cute options out there for less...I would only pay $45 for the cami if the material was really nice, since it looks pretty basic and you could find it elsewhere, I would splurge on the skirt though because it is a beautiful statement piece that would make the entire outfit.

I love the shrug! I definitely think you should keep that, so cute w/ jeans. Regarding the tank, I think that shrug would look cute w/ any white tank, so if it was expensive, I'd probably return it.

esquiress! i was thinking of you just last week because i went into neimans and i saw that skirt! the one in BH, which is so random because they are remodeling and have so little merchandise at all, but that skirt was definitely on their sales floor. i didn't notice what size, but i think they had a few. it would be worth a phone call! also, if they don't have your size there, try calling the one in fashion island--i've called them before to check stock and they are really nice and helpful. i hope you find it!! don't give up yet!

Everyone, I FOUND THE SKIRT!! It was just where bumblebee said it was (btw, that place is a disaster right now, so noisy and messy because of all the construction).

But the story isn't over, it was only available in a size four so now i have to take it to the tailor and see if he can make it smaller while still keeping its shape. I will let you all know soon!!
