i have had my eye on this top for a while now and i am trying to make a final decision on whether i should buy it. it's affordable, but as money is tight right now for me, i am trying to only buy stuff that i think i'd get a lot of wear out of. as you all may have noticed from my outfit posts, odd things can be versatile for me (heh), but i am wondering if this looks really dated or just plain yuck. so your opinions are most welcome.

I said yes b/c I think it would work well for you and your personal style. I wouldn't wear it b/c it's completely not me, but I can see you fitting it into your wardrobe. You could wear it under a blazer or you could wear it open, over a camisole and of course, you could wear it by itself.
Smash-how much is it? It is quirky, which I like, and while it is not a basic, I think you could mix it up in many different ways, if it's a shirt you are comfortable with and would reach for ( in terms of comfort with the style) I bought a Custo shirt similar to that and returned it because I didn't think it would be versatile and I miss it all the time. So go with your heart, not your head if it is not expensive.
I adore it! And I think my style is similar to yours. If I had that top I would probably wear the heck out of it. I say get it. Unless you just personally don't love it. In that case, where can I get it?
