i thought i remember someone saying that their shoes are really uncomfortable. i've not bought their shoes before cos they look overpriced to me, but i'm loving what they have this season. what's your experience with them? :)
I bought their mid calf buckle boots in brown this past fall. I loved them so much I actually bought a black pair too. They have held up very nicely and I am very happy with them.
Honestly, I think that every brand has their good pairs and bad pairs. I have a friend that has these and she loooves them. I may snag a pair if they go on sale before they sell out in my size and my ban is up. HTH!!

I paid $55 for a pair of black leather slingbacks last fall. I like the styling, but they are not comfortable shoes and the sole is wearing away faster than a pair of $100+ shoes (they were originally $118) should. I think they're worth their price when they're on sale, but I would NEVER pay full price from any of them.
I'm surprised people are saying they've had so many quality problems w/ them...I have a pair of basic brown pumps I bought for $90 and they are more comfortable and have been holding up better than shoes I have paid three times as much for.
That being said, I've only bought one pair of shoes from them, maybe I jsut got lucky...
i think it's hit or miss, but in general the boots might be better quality than the shoes. i have several pairs of br boots and they are holding up quite nicely. i bought a pair of peep toe pumps from them and the heel broke the first time i wore them. when i took them to the cobbler, he told me that they were beyond repair. i was really upset and am still bitter. though i will say that i have a pair of strappy sandals from them that have been going strong for 2+ years now, and i wear them at least 3x a week during the summer.
I'm really picky about shoes, and I think BR shoes are not good quality. The leather isn't soft for the price, and the soles are thin. But I think they'd be ok if you get a thin rubber sole put on them before you wear them. And don't buy anything suede. There were several posts on their shoes on the old FH forum - i think one girl paid full price for shoes that wore out in less than a season.
