1. Does anyone know if this brand is available online? Their website www.bernardofootwear.com does not sell.
2. Has anyone seen these in real life, and if so can you comment on sizing and, if possible, how 'loud' the metallics are? I am thinking of the Medieval sandal in pewter or gold:
And/or their Miami classic in...well, I don't know. Is black the most versatile colour? This will probably be the sandal I spend most of the summer in, so although I am tempted by colours like this:
I should probably just stick with black, huh?

Ohhhh...I really like that first pair...I might need to get those myself. The silver looks like it's a nice soft color. IMO the gold looks like it's the "louder" of the two. Don't settle for boring old black ones...go for a metallic pair...they are just as versatile.
Those sandals in pewter are gorgeous. I wanted a pair of the classic flip flops in gold last year but ended up getting a very similar pair from banana republic on sale. I might have to get the pewter ones this year.
They sell Bernardo sandals at a few boutiques near my house. The sandals are really gorgeous in real life, and I'm pretty certain that they run true to size. I'll look this weekend to see if they have the medieval ones...
Oh - I really like the Miami style in the Mint or Silver. WTF is wrong w/ me?!? I've always disliked metalic shoes and just overnight I've started drooling over them. It must be the sandals, I live for sandals.
About the black...The black is really cute and you'd wear them a lot, but I think another color could be really versatile too. Maybe the pale gold color, silver, or pewter.
Here's the pewter and gold looking slightly different (god, the pewter IS beautiful). I prefer soft/muted with metallics, rather than glitzy/Jackie Collins-esque
If they don't have half sizes, I guess I should size up? I am generally an 8 or an 8.5. Maybe I'll call them.

I have the mistrial but have seen both of these styles in person and have tried on the flip flop. you won't be disappointed - they're great shoes, especially for the price.
if anybody's in LA, berini in studio city (i may have the name spelled wrong) has some of the flip flop style on sale 50% off. I know i saw black and coral.
