OK, I'm in the market for a new pair of jeans. Casual daytime jeans to be worn w/ flats. Under or around $60. What do you all suggest? How's old navy been lately? How bout Urban Outfitters or Abercrombie...help! :)
While we're at it I'm going on a date tomorrow, going iceskating then out to din din. Two outfits required...I was thinking casual jeans and any top/sweater w/ the Old navy sparkly flats...or some of urbn's flats...not sure. um think i need help w/ this one :) I have the ivory gap fur lined vest, but it may be too cold out tomorrow so I may need to wear my black puffy coat. now that I think of it...the sparkly flats will not go w/ either of my outrerwear choices...damn. maybe I'll just wear my pink suede moccasin heels...but we're doin a lot of walking...ugh...maybe i'll just wear my sneaks (blue mesh and suede nikes) I'm freakin out! :O
then for night my black knee high boots, jean pencil skirt and a black ss drapey top w/ dangly earrings of some sort...w/ my purple velvet purse...I think I got that one down fine ;)
My favorites casual jeans for wearing w/ flats are the Halogen brand from Nordstrom. They are usually $48. The come in regular or long. I can wear the regulars w/ flats without needing to have them hemmed, which is good for me because I'm lazy about taking stuff to the tailor.
The also have a nother version that has more of a flared leg.
OK bought some at urban outfitters but upon further inspection, the length is too short :( and I need jeans w/ a little stretch...guess the search will continue tomorrow morn
oh and the shoe problem is solved, got these puppies, love em! :) puma h. streets
this style but color is different. the body is dark charcoal, w/ bright pink swooshes on the side and the middle leather toe part and laces are black w/ a turquoise accent on the heel
actually these are them...but it is a TERRIBLE pic of them...eeewww. the colors ar ebrighter in person and the grey part does not look so icky...
I would say, since UO didn't work out, to give AE a shot...or even Express.
Abercrombie's basic jeans have a little stretch and I really like them (please don't hurt me!), but they're $69.50 now! WTF...I used to buy them for $39.50 not that long ago. I like them because they're usually really high quality for the price, and they have the three lengths in their basic (Madison flare) style.
