i think the shoe itself isn't refined enough. i feel like there is too much weight in the front of the shoe and the heels seems too dainty. i would rather see a chunky heel and less of a platform. i have a feeling there will be lots of shoes like this out this summer... hold off for a sleeker design!
Huurache heels? I'm into the theory as well, but I like platform shoes better when the heel is more sustantial and the platform is more refined. Plus, though look like they'd hurt to put on.
I guess I'm not the world's biggest fan of shoe hybrids...fashion's version of "brocoliflower" and "grapples". Sorry.
I like them. They remind me of the shoes my mom wore in the 70's mixed with the flat huraches I wore in the 80's. They're earthy though, so I would pair them with big wide leg jeans.

You hit the nail on the head, lorelei - these are straight out of the seventies - and I like them - a lot.
everyone embraced the idea of high heeled moccasins, why not high heel hurrachis?
