I'm feeling so out of date. I'm so used to using clips or those claw things to pull my hair back. Very uncool, I know. What can I use and still be stylish?
I like the sleek ponytail too. but really, those claws aren't out of date at all, as long as you're not wearing it in an outdated fashion. I like to twist my hair in a semi-french twist but then let the ends hang out so it looks like a ponytail, only softer.
I have been wearing headbands lately in hopes they'd come back in style. I don't have any interest in cutting my hair. I wear it in the sleek pony all the time but sometimes like to just leave it down and pull it back from my face, which is wear the clip comes in. I just feel so dorky when I do that but I'm clueless on what else to do! :)
Do you get Marie Claire? There is a great article on 10 easy hairstyles in less that 10 minutes - i've experimented with a few & they are really easy - page 140 - if you don't get it, i will try to list some - mag may still be on the shelves, but the new one may be out already.....
PS - it's in February issue

my hair is just past my shoulders and i have been using this hair thing that has a little green butterfly on the top with two sticks coming out of it (if i find anything comparable online i will post a pic i promise!) anyway, i pull my hair up into a bun and stick this through and it is so cute and messy and fun... i love it! i think i picked it up at NY&Co for around $5!
