It looks like you'd need to dress this up a little, not just wear it with jeans...you say you love it but also that you're not feeling it - if you love it, I'd try to work an outfit out, but if you don't, I'd return it, too.

I like it a lot! It would probably look nice with a pair of chocolate pants, or maybe white? definatly not jeans. I ould ear it with skinny pants and a chunky necklace.
I agree with Ally S return it. I keep tags and receipts till I wear something if it has been 2-3 weeks and I still have not worn it (this is everyday wear not suits and stuff) then I take it back.
Depending on how you like to accessorize, I can see a brown/green tone houndstooth fedora with this outfit. I think the sweater would work with camel or brown cords or cord skirt too.
I own this sweater- the absolutely only thing I wear it with is jeans. It looks nice with my AG legends in this wash:
or a pair of my more wide legged trouser/slouchy jeans. I don't wear it with obvious "designer" jeans (ex. seven butt squiggle) because it is more organic looking and it just looks weird, like the styles don't go. I also want to buy a denim mini-skirt to wear with it (just a plain one with maybe a frayed hem- your short brown one may be nice.) I don't think it really is a very dressy sweater. I usually leave my hair wavy when I wear it and wear it either with my flat tan suede boots, or my suede red UGG clogs. I have tried to make it "business casual" and it just doesn't work very well. It is such a pretty sweater, but def. more earthy and is much easier to work in a boho kind of way.
lynnie- I love the last pair of shoes you posted Would you mind telling me where you found them and how much they are? My comp won't let me get the link for them.
