To buy or not to buy?

There's a consignment shop right next to my college and every once in a while my friends and I go by to see if there's anything new. Last time I was there I came across a vintage Dooney&Bourke leather satchel. They definetely don't make this bag anymore. It's body consists of off white pebbled leather and it's trimmed with brown leather at the base and the handles. It also comes with the matching coin purse/wallet. Both cost $68.


The bag is very similar to this one



Now assuming the bag is still there, do you think it's worth the money or should I wait for something else to come along? I will buy a new bag sooner or later; it's an addiction!

I remember those bags, I saw pne in the white pebbled leather and it looked good. They were the reason I fell in love with Dooney. I think it is worth $68, but you definetly want to check the condition of the bag, they usually hold up pretty well. Good luck.

i agree.  i have a dooney bag and it will last forever ...  so if you like that style, go for it.

I would pass, I am probably the preppiest person on the board, but I never have been of a fan of Dooney past or present. Sorry.

If that is what you are in to I would say get it.  I love vintage LV and if I came across a great find I would get it.  You can't beat that price.
