I'm so happy! I've been wanting silver ballet flats for awhile, but didn't really want to spend $30 or more on them because I didn't know how long I'd like them. But, when I was in Target, I discovered that they now sell them for only $13! They're sooooo comfortable. The inside, around the edges, is sueded (not real), so they're super soft, plus the "leather" is very flexible, so it molds to my foot perfectly. They also come in tan, black, pink, and gold. I might just have to go back and get a black or tan pair, or both..
Just had to share, also for any people who were ever looking for cute, but cheap ballet flats.
(sorry, no picture on the Target website for me to post)
I was just going to post about these. They had gold at your target? I will have go look at another one! They only had black, tan and pink at mine. They also had some cute low wedged espadrilles with stiped grosgrain ribbon criss crossed straps.
I think the gold and silver probably literally just came out with in the last day or 2, because I didn't see them in there when I was there on Thursday.
I have a question though: How much room is supposed to ideally be at the end of the shoe, between your longest toe and the end? I have about 3/8 of an inch of free space at the end of mine when I'm wearing them, my big toe is pretty much touches the the side, and for some reason, I was questioning whether they were too small or not. I'm usually a 5 1/2 or 6 (depending on the shoe) and I got the 5 1/2. My usual concern with slip on shoes is that if I get them too big, they won't stay on.
They're not uncomfortable or anything, but I wasn't sure if I need to go up a half size or not.
I think I'll go try on the 6 tomorrow just to see...
wow!! I am going to have to go check out target tonight if I get a chance. Thanks for the info. I got a pair of silver ballet flats from Old Navy and I have worn them a ton but they are starting to look a lil beat up!! I would love a gold pair as well.
