A pair of Chie Mihara sandals is on eBay that I killed myself looking for a couple of months ago but couldn't find on sale (one store had them for $215 but everywhere else was still full price at $330). They are $160- which is better than I would have paid. But now that I see all the fall stuff- I feel like I'm not in the mood to spend the money on spring/summer. Thoughts? I may be kicking myself next year if I dont get them- I have a hard time finding shoes. Does anyone else get like this?
By this time I will only buy summer stuff if it is well over 50% off and know I will like it next year. I try not to go overboard buying clearanced summer items because I want to start buying fall things.
I think you should get them - if you think you'll be able to wear them next year, anyway. If something is good quality and not too trendy, I think end of season sales are a great way to create a good wardrobe of well-made pieces.
I don't adhere to trends (much) so I don't generally buy things expecting myself to wear them only for the short term. I wouldn't be afraid to buy them even if you don't get your $'s worth until next year!
If you can get 4+ weeks wear out of them I'd do it now (in fact I did just buy some sandals at full price because I LOVED them and am hoping I can wear them through mid-September so cost per wear isn't outrageous even if I don't wear them as much next summer). However I know that I also have an issue with buying clothes in off-season, if I buy summer clothes in the winter I often don't like them as much in the summer and then I want to buy fun new clothes that I do like!

I'd probably pass...but that's mostly because fall is just around the corner and fall fashion is my favorite. I'm sure you'll find a lot of cute fall stuff that will erase the sandals from your mind.
