It's attractive. I would only get it if you LOVE it. Personally, I could think of bags I would much rather put the money toward - but you're the one carrying it, not me...

I love Jcrew, but there is something that I can't place my finger on why I am not loving the bag.

I think it's ok...But the price definetly not. I'm probably thinking that way because it's too much like the LV Alma bag which would only cost a few more hundred bucks. So in summary if it was on sale, yes.

I actually really like those bags but I don't think they're worth those prices for a bag from J Crew. You could probably get a Coach legacy bag for around those prices. They're just not bags I would choose to splurge on.

The LV Epi leather Alma costs $915.

The LV Monogram Alma costs $775

I like the shape of the bag (I've had an infatuation with the Alma since I was around 14), but I've seen J. Crew's leather bags and I guess I question the quality for the price. I think you're better off finding something at, say, Coach.

it's okay... i'm not in love with the bag. i also think that the handle would get annoying after a while (i hate bags i can't put over my shoulder). also the flap may be bothersome as well... i think save your cash.

i think the smaller one is very cute--the larger one looks like they just took the style of the smaller bag and enlarged it, and it doesn't work as well. j.crew's leather is nice quality--i would think the bag would be very comparable (in terms of quality and price) to a coach one. if you like the style, get it!
