I am an honorary bridesmaid in my good friends wedding this summer. We get to pick our own bridesmaid dresses in black. She put no specifications, length, staps or no staps, nothing. The bridesmaid dresses are two pieces in an ivory halter top and a bright pink bottom. I would like to buy something to add to my LBD collection and maybe spend around $100-$300. I do have a place to order one bridesmaid dress at a really good discount. This place carries designers from Bill Levkoff to Vera Wang Maids. I am do have a really beautiful Vera Wang in lilac from a friend's wedding last year and I really liked her dresses, they also retail around $240. These are 2 dresses that I have found so far, but I would love your suggestions. They can either be a "real" bridesmaid dress or a black dress from elsewhere. The only thing is I don't want strapless, I already own 2. Oh the other honorary bridesmaids and I will all decide together whether or not we wear long or tea length. So no worries I won't stand out! Thanks so much!
This in solid black.
This also in black.
So let me know what you think and also if you have any suggestions! TIA!
I love the first one too, I just hope that all the other girls decide to wear tea length. Can anyone get into Verawang.com for some reason it won't let me, even though I did download the new flash player for it. It never seems to work on my Mac at home? Well if anyone can if you see anything good there in long, please post! TIA.
I agree- I think the first one is the best out of all of them. I was dying to wear tea length at my sister's wedding last year but all the other maids said they didn't want to show their fat legs, blah blah blah...
Out of the Vera Wang, there are available in black, so if you see some let me know! The first dress is: Jim Hjelm, I am not sure of the price, probably around $250. But my secret is http://www.pearlsplace.com, you can order just one dress and they are all discounted. Since the wedding is in July, I wanted to order soon. I just hope that I will be able to wear tea length, I might just order it anyways. I have noticed that I like the "real" bridesmaid dresses versus what is available in store. Intersting change vs. years ago. But if anyone has any suggestions...bring them on! TIA!
I really wish that I could see the front of number 3 also. I was able to check out Vera's site at work and there is a dress there that I really liked. I am going to go Parisian this weekend and try some on. But in case I am not able to wear a tea length dress...I really would love some suggestions! Tia!
