i'm sure this has been covered before, but can someone tell me how american apparel tees fit? i want them be longer in length. they don't have tunics but i'm hoping their regular tees are generously long. i know c&c has long tees but can't bring myself to pay that much for a tee shirt.
sorry--all of mine are the regular length american apparel tees, and they are all, um, regular length. the body of the shirts are a normal length, they don't run long at all in my experience. the sleeves on some of the long-sleeve ones are extra-long, though.
I actually find American Apparell tees to be a little short, largely because they shrink in length A LOT. I've started buying larges, after one wash my mediums were above the top of my jeans. I have a *really* short torso, so I would imagine it would be worse on someone who was taller or longer in the torso.
you know, i do have the long legs/short torso body--so perhaps my "normal length" would be short on someone else. i never thought about that before, but luckylily is probably right.
I'm built just like tri_sarah_tops (5' 2.5", shorter torso), and I like them because they're shorter so that I can have a tank top underneath that actually shows. They hit me right at the top of my hip.
James Perse is ridiculously long though (It hits me at the top of my thighs), although I'm not sure that helps pricewise.
