do i need a giant duffel bag?

cc i can't even begin to imagine how big that big would look next to you! it's already a monster on lm! i feel like that bag would overwhelm you and start making you carry it!

why don't you get a large tote instead that you can actually use as a purse/travel bag. i find my black lesportsac bag really handy for travel because it packs very small, it's lightweight, and it holds tons. and you know at woodbury you can get them for next to nothing!

oh i was looking at it more for weekend trips, going to my parents and that sort of thing. i feel ridiculous using my roller suitcase for anything other than plane travel and even most biggest tote is way too small to fit everything i need for an overnight trip so i always wind up using giant shopping bags like a hobo!

i don't know.. it's a good deal but it's so monsterous. it will powerover you. but the price is right. i'm torn.

cc, I say go for it... $20 you can't go wrong and it sounds like you could use it! I have a big bag like this that I use all the time, they come in very handy.

i just ordered it!

i thought it looked familiar and realized that i know someone how owns and and it didn't seem insanely huge when i saw it in person. it's cheap and i'm sick of carrying my crap in shopping bags when i go away for the weekends.

cc thanks so much for posting that duffel. I needed a new weekend bag (travel almost every weekend and had two small duffels that were falling apart). I'm gonna order the bag tonight. Did you get the houndstooth one?

bliss - i got the pink one. i didn't like it in the picture and was going to get the houndstooth but then when i realized that my friend has it in pink and i had admired it when i saw it, i went for that pattern.

Thanks cc. I was going to get it in the houndstooth but I thought it was impractical for a duffel that will spend the majority of it's life in the trunk of my car so I fear it will get dirty. Plus I like the look of the hot pink and black so I'll get that one. I've never even heard of fred flare's before so it should be an adventure.
