Ladies, I need your help. I bought this top on sale last weekend (the colors in person are much more muted than in this picture, it's really a soft seafoam green and lighter wine color in person):
Problem is, I have much bigger boobs than the model in the picture and the top is REALLY cleavage-y. I took it to my tailor to see if she could do anything about it and she said that closing part of the opening just won't look right. I don't know what to do - my boobs are waaaay too pronounced if I wear this top without anything underneath. Should I find a cami to wear underneath? If yes, what color do I wear? I can't take it back (that's the beauty of big sales in small boutiques), but I could sell it on ebay if I have to.
are you hanging out of the top or just worried that you might fall out of it? Maybe you could use tape to keep it in place if you are just worried about falling out.
bean - lemon meringue was my favorite growing up! (well, i was obsessed with all things strawberry shortcake, but i liked lemon the most)
i think i need to buy a wine colored cami just to try it on with it and see how it looks. has anyone seen one in that color that is made of that seamless stretchy material? it would probably be better if it was v or low cut rather than straight across.
lsu - there is no way that my boobs will fall out of the top, i'm really just hanging out of it. the tape is a good idea, but i've never used it before - will it work for my C cup chest?
I think a cami would distract from the neckline too. I'd go with double-sided tape so the line will stay put, and maybe wear it with a jacket over, so it's a little more subtle.
