These boots were so made for me! The 7 fits perfectly (even though I'm usually a 6) and they don't engulf my knees like most knee-high boots do b/c the shaft is slightly shorter on these.
They are just a tiny bit tight on my upper calves - it took me a bit to get them zipped. So I'm going to take them into the shoe shop at the mall this weekend to see how much it would be to have a little bit more elastic put in the gore.
I am soooooo glad I actually ended up getting them - they look very expensive in person and are really nice quality. Thanks to all (CC and Dot especially) for helping me find them and convincing me to get them!

Yay that's awesome! I'm glad you like them.. maybe the suede will give a little after some wear. Which color did you end up getting by the way? I think cc has both colors.

I ended up getting the brown ones - I've been looking for a pair of brown suede boots forever and these are just to die for! I'm wearing them today, so if they feel okay by the end of the day I doubt I'll have to have them altered but hopefully the suede will stretch a teensy bit.

Yes ma'am! I have a ton of skirts that I will finally be able to wear! I also might attempt the cuffed-jeans-over-boots look, and I'm also looking into getting a pair of brown pinstriped capri trousers. Suggestions are always welcome!

i'm very tempted to order the brown ones right now, but i'm apprehensive about the sizing. all they have left is 7, which is my size normally, but LMonet, you said you ordered up a size and they fit?
cc, are you around? did you get your normal size in these or have to size up? i tried to search and see if you said what size you got, but i couldn't find anything.

asf - I had actually given LMonet the sizing info in a PM. I found that they run small. I'm normally a 6.5 (sometimes a 6) but I got the 7s and they are only a little big. I tend to wear fairly thick socks underneath them and that actually makes them a bit snug on me. I did find that they are really narrow - they used to pinch my pinkie toes a lot but have since stretched out.
thanks cc...i guess i'll pass, since i'm a pretty solid 7 and it sounds like these might be too small...maybe i'll see if i can find them in the store and try them on before i buy.

I am usually a pretty solid 6 in heels, 5.5 in flats and these fit me perfectly. However, I also happen to have really wide feet and calves so I doubt anything smaller than a 7 would have fit. ASF, if most boots fit your calves an your feet could in any way be classified as average or narrow width you could probably wear these in a 7. They are on sale now for $63.99 (I got my price adjustment of $8 at lunch ) so I would call all the Macy's around and see if they carry them in-store so you can try before you buy. Good luck - they rock!
